Is a musician, producer, and artist based in Denver, CO. Her new project Mirror Fountains was born from an ambitious challenge to work in the DAW every day for a year, and soon became a place to explore, grow, and find the joy of flow in creating music and visual art.
The debut album Surprise is aptly named, as many of the songs were inspired by happy accidents like sliding the mouse up the midi roll, keeping the tape rolling while playing with her dog, and using a scratch vocal that was intended to be a placeholder for a guitar solo.
Drawing from experimental electronics, art-pop, industrial, symphonic, and iridescent noise, Mirror Fountains paints with sound to make every song its own mini world — literally, as many of the songs emerged while Emily was painting or sketching.
Emily is passionate about helping others find their voice and creative flow, and teaches virtual lessons from her home near Denver, CO.
